Photovoltaics

Given the finite nature of fossil fuel resources and the greenhouse gas (CO2) produced when they are used, a fundamental change in power generation in the near future is essential. Regenerative energies such as solar are inexhaustible and ecologically sound.

Photovoltaics uses the photo effect by generating electricity from the energy of sunlights´ photons. PVA TePla offers leading crystal growing technology  for high quality crystals  from which solar wafer are produced.

Carbide

Hard-metal components are needed all around where rigid and resistant work pieces are used. The sintering of pre-formed  hard metal components under high pressure and high temperature is one of the core competencies  of PVA TePla.

Industrial Medical

RF plasma is the most widely used and versatile plasma technology, and is applied to a broad spectrum of industrial and medical applications.

Material surfaces that require cleaning, coating or chemical modification are immersed into the energetic environment of an RF plasma. Here they are subjected to chemically reactive species that are carried to their surfaces by the directional effects of the RF plasma. These directional effects can carry momentum under the right conditions, physically removing the more inert surface contaminants and cross-linking polymers to lock the plasma treatment in place.

Ceramics

Ceramics, a material which is  increasingly used in automotive and engine production due to ist low specific weight and thermal stability is sintered in systems of PVA TePla.

Graphite/CFC

Increasing raw material prices and increasing requirements  of the purity of materials enable new applications. Graphite - extensively needed in the crystal growing process in the semiconductor- und photovoltaic market – is cleaned up in heat treatment systems.

Measurement

Quality inspection for high class and expensive high tech materials plays a growing role in the industry. PVA TePla offers several technological highly developed systems for different markets
