A graduate engineer for physics, energy and heat technology, Peter Abel has been CEO of PVA TePla AG since December 2002, and is the company largest shareholder.

He ran his own engineering consultancy while still a physics student, and as early as the 1980s was responsible at the BALZERS-PFEIFFER Group for constructing the ‘large-scale physical equipment’ and ‘vertical inline systems’ for coating materials using plasma processes. In 1989 he was assigned responsibility for the process plant division.

Born in 1953, Peter Abel was the managing director and principal shareholder of PVA Vakuum-Anlagenbau GmbH, a company that he himself founded in 1991 in a management buy-out. Since then, he has established and taken over management of several successful subsidiaries both in Germany and abroad. In 2001, Peter Abel brought his various participating interests into a holding company, the PA Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, in which he holds a 100% interest.

Mr. Bohle, whose education was in business administration, has been a member of the Board at PVA TePla AG since the beginning of April 2004 and since 17 June 2004 he is responsible as CFO.

Arnd Bohle – born in 1960 – has many years of experience in responsible positions in accounting and controlling, with an emphasis on machine construction, including in the Krupp Group and as Managing Director of a company in the optical disc industry.
