Integrity and Responsibility for Sustainable Success

Responsible action and economic success are inextricably linked at PVA TePla. Our company stands for responsible and sustainable corporate governance, with compliance with laws and internal guidelines forming the foundation of our daily conduct.

For us, compliance is not just a mandatory program, but an expression of a corporate culture we can all be proud of. Our goal is to always act in accordance with the rules and responsibly. Only in this way can we sustainably strengthen our common future.

Our Whisteblower System

  • Reports of possible legal violations or violations of our Code of Conduct are important so that we can counteract undesirable developments at an early stage and reliably adhere to our standards for integrity and responsible action. We are aware that it can take courage to submit such reports.

  • To ensure professional and confidential handling, we work with independent ombudspersons from the law firm Ebner Stolz as part of our digital whistleblower system, "Whistleblower Software." The experienced attorneys there objectively review every incoming report with the required professional expertise.

  • Whistleblowers who, at the time of reporting, had sufficient reason to believe that the information provided was true are protected and do not need to fear any disadvantages or reprisals.

  • With one click on the button below, you will be taken directly to the digital reporting portal.

To the Whistleblower System

Other Reporting Options:
In addition to the whistleblower system, your supervisor or our Compliance Department, reachable at compliance@pvatepla.com, are of course also always available as trustworthy contacts.

Transparency and Trust

Reports can be submitted easily and, if desired, anonymously. The system allows secure communication with the ombudspersons—including follow-up questions and feedback, even for anonymous tips. An acknowledgement of receipt is provided within 7 days.

The ombudspersons decide whether to pursue a report further. If reliable indications are present, an investigation team is formed, working according to the principles of independence, confidentiality, and impartiality. After the investigation is completed, decisions are made regarding possible follow-up actions. Each whistleblower is informed—where the handling of the report allows—about planned and already taken follow-up actions.

Abuse of the Whistleblower System

We know that the system is only as strong as the trust we all place in it. Therefore, protection does not apply to individuals who intentionally make false or malicious statements. Deliberate misuse of the system is not tolerated and may even be punishable.

Data Protection

We are committed to data protection; we handle the data of the whistleblower and third parties mentioned in the report in accordance with the law. This also includes guaranteeing all rights of the persons concerned, including the rights of those against whom a compliance violation is alleged.

This also includes the right to information about all personal data processed in connection with the report by the data subject. As a rule, the interest of the data subject in receiving such information will be secondary as long as the investigation into the submitted report is ongoing. After the investigation is completed, however, such requests for information are generally to be complied with.

We therefore recommend that all whistleblowers take this circumstance into account when submitting a report, especially if they wish to remain anonymous. Further information on data protection can be found in the privacy policy on this website.
