PVA TePla AG, through the Crystal Growing Systems GmbH (CGS) subsidiary of
its Crystal Growing Systems division, has received another major order
worth more than € 5 million from the solar industry. A leading solar wafer
manufacturer in Germany’s ‘Solar Valley’ in Thuringia has commissioned CGS
to build crystal growing systems for monocrystalline solar wafers. This
solar wafer manufacturer is expanding its capacities in order to increase
its production of wafers and solar cells. The value of the order is
equivalent to more than 12 percent of last year’s group revenue.
