Deine Aufgaben
- You are responsible for the hazardous substances registry: recording, maintaining, and evaluating all hazardous substances, as well as reviewing and approving them prior to procurement
- You prepare and update hazard assessments in accordance with the Hazardous
- Substances Regulation (GefStoffV) and TRGS 400 et seq., as well as operating instructions in accordance with Section 14 of the GefStoffV
- You advise managers and departments across all locations
- You support the Occupational Safety Committee (ASA)
- You conduct regular, scheduled inspections of production, laboratory, and storage areas, document the results, and track the resulting corrective actions—including assigning responsibilities and deadlines—until completion
- You will design and document training and instruction sessions on hazardous substances, protective measures, PPE, and emergency procedures for new and existing employees
- As part of the QHS team, you will support occupational safety and fire safety efforts and contribute administratively to the quality management system
Dein Profil
- You have completed technical training in the natural sciences or a comparable field and are certified as a hazardous materials officer
- You have several years of experience in hazardous substances management and occupational safety
- Ideally, you hold a qualification as a safety officer
- You are well-versed in the German Hazardous Substances Ordinance (GefStoffV), the CLP Regulation, REACH, TRGS 400 ff., the German Industrial Safety Ordinance (BetrSichV), the German Occupational Safety and Health Act (ArbSchG), DGUV regulations, and ASR guidelines
- You work independently, analytically, and collaboratively, and explain safety topics clearly
- You are known for your reliability and attention to detail when documenting using Word and Excel
- You have a good command of German and English
