Your Responsibilities
- You will analyze malfunctions and provide expert advice to our customers on resolving current issues in the areas of optics, electronics/electrical systems, handling, and software
- You ensure that equipment downtime is avoided through preventive maintenance, spare parts inventory management, and system upgrades
- In this way, you ensure that our SIRD laser-based metrology tool for semiconductor materials operates reliably at all times
- You conduct inventories and inspections of safety-related equipment and document them in accordance with applicable standards
- You will build a knowledge database for recurring service cases and keep it continuously up to date
- You will create and maintain technical documentation (e.g., service reports, equipment and service documentation)
- When needed, you will support our service engineers worldwide with remote support
- You will conduct application and operator training and assist our customers in the efficient and safe use of their equipment
Your Profile
- You have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or physics, or have completed an apprenticeship as a state-certified technician
- Alternatively, you have a comparable qualification and at least 3 years of professional experience in technical field service as well as in the maintenance of technical systems
- Knowledge of electronics, electrical systems, optics, laser technology, measurement technology, and software diagnostics is a plus
- You are confident in using digital applications (service apps, ticketing, and ERP systems)
- You have good German and English language skills and communicate confidently in both languages
- Your strengths include commitment, creativity, and flexibility
- You work in a customer-oriented manner, independently, and with great care
- You hold a valid Class B driver’s license
- Willingness to travel and a confident, professional demeanor in an international customer and partner environment round out your profile
