Your Responsibilities
- You support the development and implementation of machine learning algorithms for applications in acoustic scanning microscopy
- Working closely with the team, You contribute to the creation and maintenance of data processing and analysis pipelines in Python
- In addition, You help integrate and maintain software components developed in C or C#
- When it comes to annotating and preparing data for machine learning, You provide reliable support
- You take part in testing, documenting and troubleshooting existing ML applications
- Your contributions support research projects in signal processing, deep learning and microscopy
Your Profile
- You are currently enrolled in a technical degree program, such as computer science, engineering, physics or a comparable field
- You have practical experience in programming with Python and feel confident working with data
- Initial knowledge of C or C# is an advantage, but not a requirement
- You are interested in topics related to machine learning, image processing and data analysis
- Working in a team comes naturally to You, and You enjoy familiarizing Yourself with new technical and scientific topics
- Technical and scientific contexts do not deter You; ideally, You already have a basic understanding of signal processing or scientific work
- You are able to communicate very well in both English and German, verbally and in writing
